About Greengate

At the ripe old age of 15, my son, Tucker, wanted to save money to buy his dream truck. Finding work is just about impossible for a 15-year old, so we brainstormed and decided that Saturday lawn maintenance would be a great way to help people keep their piece of planet earth looking good…and help him earn some money to work towards that dream truck goal. The plan would be simple; once he had his driver’s license, he could work with his buddies and continue the lawn business through high school, college….and Dad would be out.

Time inevitably brought change. Today, Tucker has his truck, is currently serving as a United State Marine and is also simultaneously working on his bachelors degree. As luck would have it, Dad stayed on and you may have even seen a GreenGate Turf & Pest truck in your neighborhood or driving by recently.

With the help of a fantastic and committed team, GreenGate has grown to include Pest Control, Mosquito Barrier, Lawn Fertilization, and Landscaping/Bush Bed Service. All from a goal, an idea, and that first weekend of Lawn Mowing and Maintenance where you can see me and Tucker happy after our first job well done.
