Service Notifications

Notifications and Expectations That Keep Us Accountable

The notifications and service day expectations that we provide guide our services and ensure a fair relationship with every customer.

Scheduling

For our fertilization and weed control or home pest control customers, we provide several notices before we arrive at your property for scheduled services.

  • 48 Hour Notice to The Email on Account
  • 24 Hour Notice To The Email on Account
  • 24 Hour Notice Text Ahead (Must be opted in to texts through our online software)
  • Text in route to customer’s property

For our mow customers, we offer set mowing days on the same day each week (or every other week) to ensure customers are always aware of when we will arrive. Upon sign up, customers are notified of their regular mow day.

Service Delays

From time to time, our schedule gets delayed due to weather events or internal issues. When delays occur, our dedicated staff will always notify the customer via email of the delay and when to expect our technician or mow crew.

Unable to Access Backyard

Given that our team works hard to provide several notices of services, we will work to complete the customers front yard only. We are required to charge full price for that service.

In the case of a fertilization and weed control and/or pest control, service will be completed in the front yard only. Our technician will leave a door sticker notifying you we could not access your backyard. An email or phone call from the client is required to notify us to come back to treat the backyard.

For mow clients, the mow service will be completed in the front yard. The morning after service, our team will notify you via email that we could not access the backyard. If on a weekly service, we will return the following week (on the regular service day) to complete the front and back yard service. If on a biweekly schedule, we will offer to return the following week (on the regular service day) to mow the backyard at no additional cost. If a front and back yard mow is requested the week after, we are required to charge full price for a mow service.

Service Guarantee

Satisfaction Guaranteed

We are committed to your satisfaction and offer free re-treatments for weeds, bugs, and fungus (when signed up for that specific service) to ensure your lawn stays healthy and beautiful. However, we do not offer full refunds. If you ever have concerns about your lawn, we’ll send out a licensed field manager to assess the situation and work with you to find a solution that meets your needs.

Billing, Payments, & Cancellations

Billing Made Simple

We’re here to make billing straightforward and hassle-free. Whether you need to make a payment, update your account, or cancel a service, we’ve got you covered.

All ‘a la carte’ services are invoiced the day after the service is completed. For customers who choose our monthly bundles, payments are made on a monthly basis and include a small discount for bundling multiple services together. Billing for bundles is calculated by taking the total cost for the year, applying the discount, and dividing it into 12 equal payments.

If a bundle is canceled before the year is complete, a debit or credit may be issued to the customer, depending on the services already rendered. Additionally, if a contract is signed and the service is canceled before the contract period ends, a cancellation fee will apply.

Select Commercial Customers may be eligible for monthly billing by check, invoiced on the 20th each month.

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, we’re happy to accommodate as long as it is done in a timely manner. Our dispatch is made several days in advance, and it may take time to notify and reach our technicians or crews in the field.

Payment Processing Fees

Understanding Processing Fees

We charge a 3% processing fee for ALL transactions made using credit or debit cards

To avoid this fee, we offer an ACH (e-Check) payment option through our secure online portal, which is completely free of processing charges. However, please note that if an ACH payment is returned, a $5 return fee will be applied per transaction.

Safety & Environmental Practices

Commitment to Safety and Sustainability

At Greengate Turf & Pest, the safety of our employees, clients, and their properties is our top priority. We are committed to using products and practices that not only protect the environment but also ensure the well-being of everyone involved.

EPA-Registered Products

We exclusively use EPA-registered products that meet the highest standards of safety and effectiveness. These products have been rigorously tested and approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ensuring they are safe for use in residential and commercial environments. We take pride in offering our clients solutions that deliver results while adhering to industry safety standards.

Biological Products for Eco-Friendly Solutions

In addition to EPA-registered products, we also incorporate biological products into our services. These natural solutions are designed to target pests and promote a healthy lawn, while minimizing environmental impact. By using biological products, we contribute to a more sustainable approach to pest and lawn management, providing eco-friendly options for our clients who prioritize environmental responsibility.

Employee and Client Safety Plans

We have implemented several comprehensive safety plans to ensure the protection of our employees, clients, and their properties. Our team is fully trained on the proper handling and application of all products, and we follow strict safety protocols during every service. We believe in transparency, so clients are always informed of what’s being applied to their property and when.

We also prioritize communication and cooperation with our clients. If any special precautions need to be taken (e.g., keeping children or pets indoors during treatment), we provide clear instructions and guidance ahead of time. Our goal is to ensure that our services are effective and safe for all involved.

Fully Insured for Peace of Mind

We are fully insured to protect both our employees and clients. Our comprehensive insurance coverage provides peace of mind, knowing that any potential incidents are covered. This is part of our ongoing commitment to professionalism, safety, and accountability in all that we do.
